Data Deletion

This page explains how to ask ADVCY Ltd to delete the personal data we hold about you, what we delete, and how long it takes. It applies to data collected through our WhatsApp concierge and messaging channels, and through our website (advcy.ai).

How to request deletion

You can ask us to delete your data in either of these ways:

  1. On WhatsApp — reply STOP to opt out, DELETE to request deletion, or HELP for contact information, to the ADVCY concierge you’ve been messaging.
  2. By email — email community@advcy.ai from, or quoting, the phone number or email address you used, with “Data deletion” in the subject line.

To help us find your data quickly, please include the WhatsApp number you messaged from and, if you know it, the event or community involved. We may ask you to confirm your identity before we act, to protect your data.

What we delete

On a valid request, we delete or irreversibly anonymise:

  • your phone number, WhatsApp profile name and identifiers;
  • your message content and conversation history with the concierge;
  • the event, community and preference information you shared; and
  • any website enquiry data (such as name and email) linked to you.

What we may keep, and why

We may keep limited information where the law allows or requires it — for example:

  • a record that you opted out or asked to be deleted, so we don’t contact you again; and
  • proof of consent and records needed for legal, accounting or dispute-resolution purposes.

We keep only what’s necessary, for no longer than required, and then delete it.

How long it takes

We aim to complete deletion requests within 30 days. If a request is complex and we need longer, we’ll let you know.

Data held by Meta / WhatsApp

WhatsApp is provided by Meta. Deleting your data with us does not delete data held in your own WhatsApp account or by Meta. To manage that, see WhatsApp’s and Meta’s privacy settings and policies.
